Unit 20 Task 1 Part 3 (Initials notes on the chocolate Bar)

Caramel Cadbury: 

Description of Packaging:
The Caramel Cadbury is a Milk chocolate filled with caramel which is wrapped in a vibrant purple and yellow packaging with an image of gold caramel pouring out a milk chocolate bucket. The Cadbury company has used a milk chocolate bucket with caramel to show that the chocolate has a caramel filling this is aimed to let their customers know what filling the chocolate contains.

Slogan:
The Company uses the slogan 'A glass and half a pint', to explain how the dairy milk is made out of fresh liquid milk in every 227g of milk chocolate. This slogan is used to refer to the packaging which has an image of 2 bottles of milk pouring onto the piece of chocolate or the bucket which is made out of chocolate.

Previous Advert:
The company's first ever advert was hosted in 1972 this was a trailer of an animated cartoon bunny which was presenting the Caramel Cadbury bar, the company aimed to get the attraction of young children through the cartoon and also try to catch the adults eyes. In 1972 the chocolate bar was also released.

Description of Taste:
The Caramel Cadbury has a soft gooey centre of golden caramel, coated with dairy milk chocolate. The caramel Cadbury melts into your mouth allowing the soft caramel to flow out and fill your mouth leaving you with a sweet layer of milk chocolate and gooey caramel.

Luxury chocolate, On the go or an Everyday bar?
The Caramel Cadbury is a very luxurious chocolate bar as it has a golden soft gooey centre and is luxurious in every bite.

Potential Target Audience:
The potential target audience for the Caramel Cadbury would be children this is because the adverts and trailers are aimed at children as they are cartoon animated adverts however this could also be aimed at adults as adults could possibly like caramel as well so overall the potential target audience would be children and adults.

Cadbury White Oreo: 



Description of Packaging:
The Cadbury White Oreo chocolate is an Oreo filled chocolate coated in white dairy milk, this Oreo Cadbury is wrapped in a vibrant purple and white mixture with vibrant swirl of white and a picture of the white Oreo chocolate piece this shows a visual of how the centre of the chocolate looks like.

Slogan:
The Company uses the slogan 'A glass and half a pint', to explain how the dairy milk is made out of fresh liquid milk in every 227g of white chocolate. This slogan is used to refer to the packaging which has an image of 2 bottles of milk pouring onto the piece of white dairy milk chocolate.

Previous Advert:
The company's first ever Cadbury White Oreo bar was first released in 2002.

Description of Taste:
The Cadbury White Oreo has a crunchy Oreo filling which is delicious in taste this crunchy Oreo filling is then topped off with a white layer of dairy milk chocolate this give the chocolate a blissful taste. This wonderful chocolate leads to a wild bite.

Luxury chocolate, On the go or an Everyday bar?
The Cadbury White Oreo chocolate is an everyday and on the go chocolate bar , this is because this chocolate can be eaten anywhere and every where this could possibly be during a school break time snack or a quick on the go work snack. The company has aimed to make it a light weight chocolate which allows you to take a bite anywhere on the go without getting messy.

Potential Target Audience:
The potential target audience for this chocolate bar would be adults and children as they could eat this as a snack and it is aimed at both children and adults who are into Oreo as the centre of this chocolate is crunchy Oreo.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo is a Dairy milk chocolate bar which has a crunchy Oreo Centre, this chocolate bar is wrapped in a vibrant purple packaging with a bold letter word which spells out 'Oreo' this packaging has a touch of colour on the word Oreo and is finished off with a picture of an Oreo opened up.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo was first released in 2012, the first advert to come out was in 2012 with a You tube advert the company aimed to target children customers using cartoon animations however they also aim to get adults to have an interest in the chocolate bar.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo has a crunchy Oreo filling which is delicious in taste this crunchy Oreo filling is then topped off with a dairy milk layer chocolate this give the chocolate a blissful taste. This wonderful chocolate leads to a wild bite.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo chocolate is an everyday chocolate bar which can be snacked on, by both adults and children it is a on the go type of chocolate bar. This chocolate bar is very easy to snack on or take as it is not messy to eat.

Potential Target Audience:
The potential target audience for the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo would be both children and adults as explained it is an everyday on the go bar which can easily be picked up by both children and adults as a snack this is mainly aimed at Oreo fans and people who like Oreo as this chocolate has a crunchy Oreo centre.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk is a Dairy milk chocolate bar which has a smooth milk Centre, this chocolate bar is wrapped in a vibrant purple packaging with the title 'Dairy Milk'  this packaging has an image of a white milk bottle this is supposed to represent the 'milk' in dairy milk.

The Dairy Milk chocolate bar was released in 1905 its adverts were trailers on you tube, this was aimed to catch peoples eyes and looking into the chocolate the first ever advert was released back in the 1900 however this is an updated advert which was released to catch people attention with its humour and to try out Cadbury new chocolate bar.

Description of Taste:
The Cadbury Dairy Milk is made out of fresh milk from the British Isles and Ireland this chocolate is a plain bar with no filling but a solid block of Dairy milk chocolate, this is a smooth chocolate which melts in your mouth and every piece is a mouthful of deliciousness.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate bar is a very simple on the go chocolate bar this is a simple and plain chocolate bar which is very delicious in taste, its a snackable chocolate bar which can easily be picked up and snacked on if you do not know what chocolate you want.

Potential Target Audience:
Cadbury aims the Dairy Milk chocolate bar at both adults and children, this chocolate bar is an on the go chocolate bar which everyone can snack on its very rich in flavour and very simple.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creation:



Description of Packaging:
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations chocolate bar is a dairy milk chocolate filled with tasty goodies, this bar is wrapped in a vibrant purple packaging the vibrant purple consists of a handful of colours such as pink, purple and blue these colours are supposed to represents the explosion from the centre of the chocolate and how good this chocolate is.

Slogan:
The Company uses the slogan 'A glass and half a pint', to explain how the dairy milk is made out of fresh liquid milk in every 227g of white chocolate. This slogan is used to refer to the packaging which has an image of 2 bottles of milk pouring onto the piece of dairy milk chocolate.

Previous Advert:
The Previous advert to the Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations was released in 2012, this advert was released on the Cadbury website on you tube and it got a lot of views. This advert was very spectacular and had many different ways to attract the audience.

Description of Taste:
The Marvellous Creations has it in its name this is a very Marvellous piece of chocolate this has many flavours and wonderful colours added to it. The Marvellous Creations has a scrumptious combinations of fruit flavour jellies and crispy coated coca bites it also has centre full of popping candy it is then layered of with Dairy Milk chocolate, this chocolate has the most combinations of flavours and creates a wild blissful explosion in the mouth.

The Marvellous Creations is a very luxurious chocolate bar in taste and looks, this chocolate bar contains three different combinations of flavours and a wild centre to create a wild blissful explosion in your mouth.

Potential Target Audience:
The potential target audience for the Marvellous Creations is children this is because it is a very colourful packaging and it is filled with different combinations of fruits and popping candies as well as jellies. Children would love the combinations and the explosions that the Marvellous Creations leaves in their mouths.

What is an advert?

An advert is digital way of introducing a new media product, adverts are now more common than ever due to the development of technology. Adverts are a quick and easy way to get a response of the product so that improvements can be made before the product is released.
 

What is the advertising campaign?

  Advertising campaigns are a series of advertisement messages that share the same idea and theme which link to marketing communication.

What different mediums can adverts appear in?

The different types of mediums that an advert can appear in are industries such as film, television and radio, print and publishing, web and online technologies.

What is the main purpose of an advert?

The main purpose of an advert is to help companies reach their objective and increase their revenue. An advert's main purpose is also to get a response out of the audience so that if there are any major backlashes or criticism made about the product the company can add changes and make changes to the product before releasing, he product.

An example of an advert


This advert is a good example this is because the advert contains vibrant colours and multiple factors of how the cholate is made and produced. The advert gets a wide range of audiences however it is mainly targeted at children, the company have successfully managed to attract their audiences through a wide range of colours and actions an example of this would be in the trailer we can see that the two workers jump on the cholate bar as it goes flying into the screen making the audience jump back or even have a little giggle.
